Whose side is George on, anyway? Maybe, the problem I am seeing is not that George Bush is a complete and total wimp, but that the oath taken by the President of the United States just isn't specific enough. The Oath of Office taken by the President, reads as follows: "I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States." In comparison, the (enlistment) oath taken by members of the Armed Forces reads, in part: "I, (state your name), do solemnly swear that I WILL SUPPORT and DEFEND the Constitution of the United States against ALL ENEMIES, FOREIGN and DOMESTIC..." Granted, the oath taken by the President is a little weak (or at least lacking in resolve and/or specificity) in comparison to that taken by a common soldier, but is that any excuse for the crud Bush has tried to pull since September 11th (2001)? Gimme a break! The first time during his administration that we come under attack, and what does he do? He panics and attacks the Constitution with that treasonous "we have to give up some of our rights in order to be safe" garbage, that's what. The man can't be THAT stupid! Would somebody please explain to the guy that WE (THE PEOPLE) are NOT the ENEMY, here? Yo, George, check it out! It was "Islamic Terrorists" (mostly Saudis) that attacked the World Trade Center, et, al. It is, therefore, axiomatic that, rather than attacking the Constitution, what you should be doing is systematically ridding the world of as much "Islamic" as is necessary to make the threat go away, so that we (the people) can get back to normal. It's quite simple, really. All you need to do is forget the oath you took as a banker, to kiss the butts of your rich and powerful Saudi masters, and concentrate a little more on the one you took as President, to protect the Constitution against cruds like that.
